Serverless computing enables us to develop software that is scalable, robust and simple to deploy and manage in production environment. Presentation will describe in more detail what serverless computing is and the AWS services that we can use to develop serverless solutions with emphasis on AWS Lambda service. We will also see how to develop a very simple REST API in Java using AWS Lambda and API Gateway services and AWS plugin for Eclipse.

Miljen Stanković, author

Miljen Stanković has more than 18 years of experience in software development. He is currently employed as a Head of Technology Office at Libusoft Cicom. Before that he also worked as a programmer, database administrator and Head of Database Department. He holds multiple certificates including: Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
